This place stands out with the service and atmosphere. The mushroom rice was definitely the standout— super strong mushroom flavors and the rice was creamy. The pasta was decent but lacking flavor. The dessert was fun since you can put icing on the banana pudding but the banana pudding itself tasted a little artificial

I was passing by the other day and saw so many people on the patio, so I wanted to check it out. The service was great, and the food was good too. My favorite was the Hamburg steak with Gruyère cheese and corn. It was so good that I might go back just for that. The server recommended an orange wine to pair with it, and it was an absolutely great recommendation. The Korean chicken was good, but nothing too special, to be honest. Overall, the vibe was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I’d definitely go back with friends:)

The popcorn chicken was so good. I think it was my favorite dish of everything we ordered, and the potatoes were perfectly done. The pasta was good, but I didn’t go crazy about it. The shrimp toast was good, and the sauce was excellent. The mushroom bibimbap was tasty and had a kind of coconut flavor at the end. The restaurant was very loud; I couldn’t hear what the people at my table were saying. The service was all over the place. They had a problem with the AC unit dripping, so they put a pan underneath to catch the water, but they dropped the pan all over the floor and into the kitchen. They didn’t seem to clean their hands afterward and continued serving customers. The restaurant was very understaffed. The food is great, but the place needs to feel a little cleaner and more organized.

Delicious Korean-Southern small plates! We’ve heard great things about this place - and I was pleasantly surprised. The famous popcorn chicken was a bit dry for my liking, but the baby back ribs and mushroom bibimbap were delicious! The rib meat fell right off the bone and wasn’t too heavy while the rice was perfectly seasoned and complemented the saucier dishes. Sharing 4 plates for a party of 3 was more than enough, so order according to your appetite, rather than what others say. Prices are also pretty reasonable by NYC standards, as the total came out to around $120 for 4 dishes and 3 drinks. Service was also great - we stayed almost 2 hrs on a Saturday and did not feel rushed at all. And don’t forget to check out the bathroom!

C as in Charlie is the kind of place that feels like a dinner party hosted by your coolest friend. This Korean fusion tapas spot delivers creative, shareable plates packed with flavor. The mushroom dish was an absolute standout, and the pea salad was fresh, bright, and surprisingly addictive. The whipped ricotta with citrus and toast was simple but unforgettable. Loved the Blueberry Floral Mockly too. It’s rare to find a non-alcoholic drink that feels just as thoughtful as the food. A special shoutout to Daisy, who took great care of us. She was warm, friendly, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from start to finish. And dessert? B as in Banana stole the show. Comforting, playful, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Cozy space, fun vibes, inventive food, and plenty of vegetarian-friendly options. C as in Charlie doesn’t take itself too seriously, but the food is seriously good.
